All attractions at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure shut down while inspectors performed safety checks; almost all had reopened by Tuesday evening. At Knott’s Berry Farm, some park-goers found themselves stuck when power was cut during the quake and rides shut down; the rides all re-opened later in the day. No injuries were reported at either park.
CNN’s Ed Lavandera was at Disneyland in Anaheim, southeast of Los Angeles, with his family and felt the temblor. He said the shaking lasted about 5 seconds.
CNN affiliate KABC is reporting that Disneyland’s rides have been evacuated.

You could hear the metal kind of clanging around, and the ride was just ending, so for a moment … I thought maybe something was wrong with the ride. Then I realized the ride had already stopped moving and the ground was still moving,” he said.
The first time I took my wife to Disneyland and California Adventure, we watched this movie. I learned a ton about wine and wine making that stuck with me since that trip in 2001. I haven’t managed to get back to the vine yard in subsequent trips - never even considered taking the kids into it. Maybe next trip, I’ll make a special effort to see it again.
