All attractions at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure shut down while inspectors performed safety checks; almost all had reopened by Tuesday evening. At Knott’s Berry Farm, some park-goers found themselves stuck when power was cut during the quake and rides shut down; the rides all re-opened later in the day. No injuries were reported at either park.

CNN’s Ed Lavandera was at Disneyland in Anaheim, southeast of Los Angeles, with his family and felt the temblor. He said the shaking lasted about 5 seconds.
CNN affiliate KABC is reporting that Disneyland’s rides have been evacuated.
Lavandera was standing in line for a ride when he saw the ride’s top “shaking back and forth.” ”

You could hear the metal kind of clanging around, and the ride was just ending, so for a moment … I thought maybe something was wrong with the ride. Then I realized the ride had already stopped moving and the ground was still moving,” he said.

I expected it to look like a Mad Max wasteland, as depicted in the 2Pac and Dr. Dre music video of “California Love“. I was disappointed in this respect.
Instead, he found real magic.

This is a great story about how the Disney magic ends up making them more money in the long run. Maybe other businesses could learn from this.

I can’t quite figure out what is going on here, but it appears that someone has collected a ton of home videos from various parks and streaming them 24×7 online. The video quality isn’t the best but there is uniqueness and realness about them.

This Donald Duck bust was created out of legos by a thirteen year old - he’s older now. There is also a bust of Goofy. Legos are way expensive. These must have cost a fortune to build.
