Posts have been a little sparse this week and last. This has been because I’ve been working on a new site feature - The Disney Video Browser. It allows you to view Disney related videos quickly and easily on this site. You can choose from a few keywords I’ve set up, or enter your own search term. You will then see a list of YouTube videos - specific to Disney - that match your keyword.
Once you select a video, you will be taken to page to play the video.
My favorite feature is on the play page, you will see a list of tags for that video. These are tags that were added by the owner of the video. You can then click on one of those tags and see a new list of videos. You can spend a lot of time browsing videos in this manner.
I have many ideas on where to take this next, but check it out and let me know your thoughts.
"The island resort contains five hotels within walking distance from seven themed areas within the park. If you don’t have children in tow when you visit Japan and you want to visit a man-made island.."
TJ of Disneylandtour.com has done an awesome job with this video - I think it must have taken many hours to put together. This is his first dedicated video of Disney’s California Adventure and shows in detail where and how the $1.1 Billion will be spent.
Before watching this video, I hadn’t fully comprehended the extend of the changes. They will affect most areas of the park in some way or another and will definitely draw more crowds.
I’m most excited for the new Toy Story Mania ride. It should be technically awesome - and spending $1 million on the Mr. Potato Head animatronic is huge.
Mickey Mouse is the most recognizable and beloved American animated idol in the world. Great American Ink has created a video showing the evolution of the famous Mouse – from 1928 through present day.
Last month I posted about my friend Robert’s trip to Epcot and how that meant I had to go to the desert. On Sunday, I repaid my debt. It was hot, dry, lacked churros, but was fun. If your interested, you can read about it on my other blog.
