Yup, <em>Donald's Nephews</em> was the first animated appearance of Huey, Dewey and Louie... but they appeared in the newspaper strip roughly six months before the cartoon was released. <a href="http://users.cwnet.com/xephyr/rich/dzone/hoozoo/hdnl.html" rel="nofollow">I kid you not!</a> If you check out the Wikipedia article on the Duck family, it seems “Dumbella” was actually her nickname—her real name was Della Thelma Duck.
