Turn Your Car into a Pixar Cars Car

Plain Old Car
Before
Cars Car
After

NASIOC forum member psychochild has a great post on using Photoshop to turn your daily commuter into a happy go lucky car from the movie Cars. It’s not for the faint of heart as it uses Photoshop features well beyond cropping and resizing, but with a little faith, a little trust and maybe a handful of pixie dust, your car could be Carsified.

If you don’t have Photoshop and don’t want to slap down a couple hundred dollars just to experiment, try using the Gimp. It’s a free photo open source photo editing program that can easily do everything required in this tutorial. You may have to search the menus for the exact commands, but they are there.

If you take the time to transform your car, please email it to me. I would love to post it up here at the Disney Frontier. Or, if you have your own site that you post it on, send me the link. I would love to see how creative you all are.

Whether you want to donate a car or truck or maybe you’d like to donate your boat sitting in the yard. Money goes to the charity of your choice and you get a tax deduction as well for donating a car with us.

I want my very own Guido, the Ferrari Pit Stop version with the Italian afro and all! He's a very rare Isetta and we once had one that was in good running condition for sale at the iSold it store where I used to work. Too bad it was BEFORE I ever saw Cars or I would have tried to buy it and had it made into a little Guido! And it was blue, too!
