Travis from Gemstone Comics (posted here) sent me three comics to review. I will do a full review after I have read them but the picture/art quality is amazing. Travis, are these hand drawn or computer drawn? The colors are brilliant and the quality of the paper rivals the quality of the art work.

Stuff from the Park is pointing to a new blog - Gorillas Don’t Blog. This blog is very much like Stuff from the Park in that the author is posting up “new” vintage images of the Disneyland park. I love that these two “competing” blogs are linking to each other. Keep up the good work.

The Disneyland Report is reporting on “It’s a Small World” celebrating its fortieth birthday tomorrow. They even have the full song lyrics linked from the article.

Thanks to Eric for pointing out that wdwinfo.com has pictures of the new remodel of the Contemporary Resort rooms. I have not been to Disney World or the Contemporary Resort as of yet but it sounds like the rooms were getting a little dated - not so contemporary. Eric also pointed me to Allearsnet.com who have some renovation pictures as well.

So we celebrated my 29th birthday yesterday. I received framed Park Map that has a vintage pin set of six pins. I also received a cool vintage desk set that has the monorail as the stapler, an autopia car to hold stickies, a tea cup to hold paperclips and a rocket to hold pens and pencils. Lastly I received a framed artist storyboard sketch of Mickey and Pluto that is really cool. I am going to have to take pictures of all this stuff and posted it up.

It contains a detailed list of more than 160,000 Disney comics stories and more than 50,000 publications, but it’s not just a simple list?it includes descriptions of the stories, artists, number of pages, appearances and much more.

When you get there you will want to click on the link COA to do a search. This is kind of like the IMDB of Disney Comics. It references which comics that character has been in, who else the character has appeared with and much more. It is a little hard to read but its pretty neat to waste some time on.

FamilyFun.com - a Disney web property has a good page of tips for planning your vacations to Disney World and/or Disneyland. The is lots of good information so check it out the next time you are planning at trip.

I haven’t had time to flip through it or study it yet, but I do plan on writing a review of the year book when I get a chance to look at it. Here is my previous post about it.
