The Disney Frontier Blog

I believe that if Walt Disney was alive today, he would have embraced the Internet and all its related technologies years ago. With that said, I think Bob Iger and the Disney crew are doing a good job jumping into these mediums now. One new content type that they have produced a lot of original content for is the podcast.

One podcast that I have been especially enjoying is the Walt Disney World podcasts. Plugged In has been referenced a couple times on this blog and I just viewed the latest video podcast all about the new Everest Ride.

There is one Official Disneyland podcast. I just subscribed today so I haven’t heard it yet. I will report back shortly on it.

Disney.com has a few podcasts. Disney Insider and The Gear Behinds the Ears are great short podcasts but they haven’t been updated since February. Last Minute Book Reports is a podcast geared towards kids that I haven’t listed to yet.

I hope Disney continues this original content as well as embraces video podcasts.
