I linked to the flickr photo set by grickily that contained this photo but I wanted to call special attention to this fan. It looks like a paper/cardboard fan that spreads out and had promotional pictures on each fan blade. The reverse side is pictured here.

Does anyone know the details of this? When and where were they distributed? The artwork on this is just awesome.

    A reproduction of this is the new Summer issue D23 membership gift… very cool! It is dated 1955.

    Just so happens that if you are a member of D23, when you get the Summer 2009 Issue of the magazine you will get a reproduction of this 1955 souvenir fan. It comes in an envelope and says “… these paper fans featured original artwork depicting attractions from Park's inaugural year.”
